Description
An old manor house on Anglesey was due to open its doors for a second time to showcase works by 111 artists who have been inspired by the idea of 'The Possibilities of a House'. A number of artists had been installing their work for a couple of months but three days before they were due to be joined by the other artists at the house, for 'Installation Week', everything stopped as a national lockdown was ordered due to the Covid19 pandemic. All of the artists were left high and dry, leaving works in the house unfinished and ideas not realised, but none more so than the organiser Julie Upmeyer. This is the story of how Julie dealt with the blow, adapting the exhibition to the new situation.
