Cithaeron: Mark Haddon
Event type:
Wednesday, January 24, 2018 - 10:00 to Saturday, March 3, 2018 - 17:00

Mark Haddon presents 'Cithaeron'. The work explores the potency of imagined spaces when relocated in the 'real world'. For this show Haddon is using installation, sculpture, painted friezes and drawing. At its core, the work challenges notions of representation, mythology and myth-making and ideas of place. Mark Haddon is an artist and designer who lives and works in Edinburgh.

Alongside Haddon, Polly Verity displays 'Folded Light'. It's a process, aided by technology, that produces three-dimensional geometric patterns in paper folded by hand. It draws on the tradition of origami and in some cases illuminated by light, emphasising the paper sculptures unique forms. And finally, photographer David Street shows his photographs of urban images...

Please note: the gallery opens Wednesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm
