The ‘Sea Empress’ Project is delighted to host an evening of short artfilm screenings and performance.

Gilly Booth, an international artist film maker originally from Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, will be screening her film Continuum, made in 1996 in response to the Sea Empress oil spill, along with associative works, including her film Bomb, Margarite Duras‘s film L’Homme Atlantique. Writer and theorist Stephen Barber, whose books have been proclaimed as ‘brilliant, profound and provocative’ by the Times newspaper, will be reading and extract from his book European Memory Zones: Conciousness, Conflict, Continental Drift. Ceri Matthews & Julie Murphy will perform Bethal, a Welsh protest song and the evening will be rounded up with a performance by vinyl DJ artist, Jacob Whittaker.
