Land Acts presents the work of five artists, collectively exploring the power of land and contemporary, rural experience.
The featured artists work closely with individuals and communities through their artistic practices to consider the connection and potential between land use and local economies, class, climate change, education and food production.
This exhibition and programme of talks and activities reflects on some of these projects and opens new conversations about the role of the artist in helping us all to reflect on our relationship to land and how we can reimagine it for the future.
Land Acts is delivered in collaboration with Peak, an arts organisation based in the Black Mountains that works with professional artists and communities responding to the rural environment.

Mae Land Acts yn cyflwyno gwaith pum artist, sy’n archwilio grym y tir a’r profiad gwledig, cyfoes ar y cyd.
Mae’r artistiaid dan sylw yn gweithio’n agos gydag unigolion a chymunedau drwy eu harferion celfyddydol i ystyried y cysylltiad a’r potensial rhwng defnydd tir ac economïau lleol, dosbarth, newid yn yr hinsawdd, addysg a chynhyrchu bwyd.
Mae’r arddangosfa hon a’r rhaglen o sgyrsiau a gweithgareddau yn ystyried rhai o’r prosiectau hyn ac yn cychwyn sgyrsiau newydd am rôl yr artist wrth ein helpu ni i gyd i adfyfyrio ar ein perthynas â’r tir a sut y gallwn ei hailddychmygu ar gyfer y dyfodol.
Cyflwynir Land Acts ar y cyd â Peak, sef sefydliad celfyddydol yn y Mynyddoedd Duon sy’n gweithio gydag artistiaid proffesiynol a chymunedau sy’n ymateb i’r amgylchedd gwledig
