4th to 19th April, 2020
11:00 – 17:00 every day

Creatives and makers, inventors and artists will once again descend upon Plas Bodfa, an empty manor house on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. In our second, house-wide, radically multi-disciplinary exhibition you can explore 69 different creative projects and installations and savour 30+ pop-up performances.

Wander through more than 35 rooms filled with works from musicians and metal detectors, painters and printmakers, spinners and sculptors, photographers and printmakers, carvers, poets, historians and explorers.

AS IT IS: Man’s footprint on the Welsh landscape. Photographs by Magnum photographer David Hurn, accompanied by a film about the artist by Zed Nelson

Celebrated Magnum photographer David Hurn is one of Britain’s most influential reportage photographers. Of Welsh descent, Hurn gained his early reputation with his reportage of the 1956 Hungarian revolution. He eventually turned away from coverage of current affairs, preferring to take a more personal approach to visual narration.

Hurn has spent much of his professional practice documenting life in Wales. His recent work explores humankind’s sometimes absurd impact on the Welsh landscape.
