Boundary Art presents Mono: a group show in black and white

The first show presented by Boundary Art in 2016 is a monochromatic affair. This exhibition, aptly titled Mono, will showcase local and international artists from the UK and abroad.

The colours black and white offer a highly visual contrast often used to depict opposites. This exhibition intends to explore the complex relationship between opposites; how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate in their pursuit of balance.

The work for this show investigates the visual and conceptual use of black, white and grey through various media and from various artistic perspectives offering a dynamic view in monochrome.

Artists include: Helen Acklam, Bill Chamber, Ping Gang Cheng, Richard Cox, Dan Hobday, Diane Horne, Fred Kennett, Sue Knight, Heather Parnell, Zoe Preece, Tegerin Roberts and Wil Stewart.

'Mono' runs at Boundary Art from 16 January to 01 March 2016. Admission is free.
